About Me

Terese is a clinical psychotherapist specializing in individual, couples and family therapy , and maintains a private practice in Erie, Colorado.

With 30 years experience as a marriage and family therapist, and as a graduate of Illinois State University specializing in Clinical Psychology she is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression and childhood emotional and behavioral problems. .

In addition to being a prominent relationship therapist, Terese has presented at national conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of stress management, hypnotherapy, developmental parenting and the treatment of PTSD. Some treatment modalities utilized include, but are not limited to, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Clinical Hypnotherapy.
Terese is a dynamic, interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide emotional support and verbal feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. Being naturally intuitive and existentially present in the moment she integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.

Education - Masters in Clinical Psychology from Illinois State University . ISU is certified by the American Psychological Association as a training site.
